Birmingham Dry Cleaner Offers Free Cleaning to Job Seekers

Birmingham, AL. - Champion Cleaners has launched a new program to aid Birmingham area job seekers during these difficult economic times.

The Champion Cleaners’ Clean Start Program will allow Birmingham-area residents to take an interview suit or dress to either of the two Champion Cleaners locations and have the item dry cleaned for free in preparation for a job interview. Champion Cleaners is located at 2548 Rocky Ridge Road in Vestavia Hills and at 5403 Highway 280 in the Greystone area.

The Program is available with standard same-day service for items received by 10:00 am weekdays. The offer is limited to one free dry cleaning per person.

“Champion Cleaners wants to help the community by offering this free dry cleaning service to those hardworking individuals who have lost their job during this economic downturn,” says Champion Cleaners owner, David Whitehurst.

“The current state of the economy is bad enough, but when you personally experience a job loss, things can really be tough. This is one way we have of helping people gain employment and support their families,” Whitehurst adds.
